This section is still a work in progress, and should ultimately include safety instructions for the use of our dilators. For now, we will keep it short with a few key points.
Instructions
- We are not a medical advice platform: in case of doubt or emergency, ask a doctor or an appropriate mutual-help network.
- ⚠️ Don’t use a dilator in the first months after a vaginoplasty, to lower the chances of a vaginal perforation happening. In the longer term, avoid using dilators made from a too hard material for likewise reasons.
- Due to the porous nature of 3D printed materials, they are virtually impossible to sterilise, so remember to use condoms to protect yourself.
